An homage to a popular feature from Battle for Middle-earth.
Using my Uruk-hai assets for Rise of Mordor and Unreal Engine 4 I attempted to recreate a menu with a series of options. The goal was create a highly customisable unit previewer. There is a series of assets and body slots, including body, that can be combined and coloured. Lastly a couple of testing animations are present to pose the character. Player can also operate light and take screenshot (includes an opacity mask). A saving system is currently in progress.
The entire project is set-up using blueprints. UI communicates to the character blueprints and materials. Various assets use cloth and standard physics simulation.
